Your song sounds so much like an INXS song. I can tell your heart is really into this. And like so many have said here, Michael was one of the GREATEST lead singers of all time! And his passing was a sad loss to the world of music. So, if ya get the gig, make all us INXS fans proud baby!!!

I've been comparing 'Trees', the apparent hit of the night it debuted, and 'Pretty Vegas', and right now two things are apparent:

1. I've forgotten 'Trees'. Can't remember the tune, and can't make sense out of the lyrics which propose two opposing conditions existing at the same time, using really bad metaphors.

2. I can't get 'Pretty Vegas' out of my head, like Kirk Pengilly. The tune just pops in and out of my head all day long, and I find myself humming and singing it under my breath.

Now that's a hit song. INXS made a mistake with 'Trees' as the best of the night. Andrew Farriss looked a little perturbed, probably because J.D. hadn't given him credit for the tracks, but those of us who've been watching from the start know perfectly well that A.F. laid down the tracks, and now it's been claimed as co-written on the score INXS gave J.D. to sing.

I think they're gonna have to release 'Pretty Vegas', if only to give A.F. the credit he deserves.

Yup, that was the hit of the night and every day after, IMO.

Hey J.D. from the very first show, I had my bets on you or Marty. And so far it appears that I have been right. But as the show has gone on, my votes have swayed to your side alone. I am Canadian, but believe it or not, I have not let that sway my decision. I, (like many others) truely believe that you are the man for the job! My husband and I were talking about it just the other night and I told him that I will be very saddened if you don't win this thing! He seems to think that you would make the best choice as well. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that we are behind you all the way! And we will have our fingers crossed for you on tuesday night! (and possibly holding our breath!) JD Not sure if you read these but if you do just thought to tell you By my side freekin rocked dude. I don't think Micheal could have done it better. You will bring an edginess that Marty and MiG do not have. I wouldn't want a nice guy or a mad conductor to lead the band. If INXS does not pick you then that would be their loss. You will outsell anything they would put out with Marty or MiG. I can always tell who hits a song during an episode of Rockstar - the hair on my arms stands on end. Besides your few off weeks you have always hit your songs. Looking forward to INXS with front man JD FORTUNE!!!! Good luck break a leg!

Oh and the fact that you are from the east coast makes things even better. I grew up in the east coast and then moved to Ontario so it is great to see great things coming from there. Best wishes for next week.

I have to say that you are amazing. You have such great stage performance. You work the stage like you were born to. But the biggest thing for me was the first time I saw you I would have to say you were my step brother. The resemblance is uncanny. You seem dark and brooding just like him. And don't take this the wrong way as I have mentioned the step brother look alike but you are sexy as hell. I will wait in anticipation for the finale to see you win.
